| WEIGHT COUNTERBALANCE DOORS
- see also DEALER selection The weight counterbalance concept was developed more than 50 years ago by Abram Reimer in the small mennonite village of Steinbach, Manitoba. Canada and parts of the northern U.S. were the early recipients of these weight counterbalance doors. Grandson, Greg Reimer (part owner of Hanover Doors) has witnessed and helped produce many innovations in this nearly indestructible weight mechanism. The weight counterbalance concept being so good has allowed this type of door to survive in an intensely competitive market boasting thousands of doors still in operation (on the origional weight system for 2 and 3 decades.(some even more) Many of these systems have had little or no service required. Thousands of these systems are being used in remote (hard to reach locations) and many by large trucking firms, warehousers, hutterite colonies, farmers and commercial/industrial businesses. These customers have learned of the quick payback of these incredibly reliable door systems. The savings in service free operation will normally, (in high use situations) pay for the investment in less than 10 years. With most doors (under heavy use) it would now be time to replace or expect a very high cost of operation. Not so with our "Weight Counter Balanced" system. By now, you have spent little or nothing at all on service or maintenance and your doors should still be good for another 20 or more years. The initial investment on smaller doors is usually slightly higher than industry standard torsion spring products and about the same or less in cost on the very large doors. These doors can be as wide as 40' and practically any height. This door operating system can and will deliver the most economical long term service of any overhead door system on the market today. In moderate to heavy use application this system should save you the equivalent of the cost of the door within the first 10 years. After that, you may still expect another 20 to 30 years of virtually trouble free and service free operation. With most other overhead door operating systems, it is likely that you would replace the doors and lift systems as often as every 5 to 9 years. Many of Canada’s most successful trucking companies, (remember the harsh climate) have used this exact same system for more than 40 years. Call for more details: 1 800 667 3667 |
